JQ Timber Floors is a family-run specialist in sanding, polishing, restoration and installation — working on homes across Goolwa, Victor Harbor, Hindmarsh Island and the wider Fleurieu since 2005.
Drag to see the difference a proper sand & polish makes
From a tired floor that needs new life to a full new install, we handle every stage ourselves — so the finish is consistent from the first sand to the final coat.
Dust free sanding that strips back years of wear, old finishes and damage to bare, even timber — the foundation for everything that follows.
We coat with Bona's water-based systems — low-odour, fast-curing and built to stay clear rather than yellow with age — finished in the sheen that suits the room, from satin living areas to hard-wearing hallways.
Board replacement, gap filling, stump and joist assessment, and bringing older Fleurieu homes' original timber back to a usable, beautiful standard.
Supply and lay of new timber flooring for renovations, extensions and new builds, finished on site to match the rest of the home.

We look at the timber, the subfloor and what you actually want from the room before anything's quoted.
A clear written quote — scope, timing and price — no surprises added once the job's underway.
Dust free sanding and any board repairs, brought back to bare, level timber.
Coating applied and cured, floor protected and handed back ready to live on.
JQ Timber Floors has been supplying, installing, sanding and polishing timber floors across the Fleurieu Peninsula since 2005 — from beach shacks to foreshore mansions, and everything in between. We've worked as timber flooring specialist for South Coast Constructions, with multiple awards to show for it. It's owner-operated by John Quaremba, a licensed second-fix carpenter and Certificate III qualified flooring technician, with his son Cruz and daughter Indi alongside him.
We're a small crew by choice. It means the person who quotes the job is the person doing the sanding, and the finish on your floor is one we'll stand behind personally.
If you're not sure whether you're in range, ask — most of the southern Fleurieu is a normal day's drive for us.
Tell us a bit about the job and we'll get back to you with a time to come and take a look.
